Processing & Delivery

Orders are typically delivered within 1–2 working days after dispatch.
New Zealand
Orders are typically delivered within 1–3 business days after dispatch. Please allow an additional 2 business days for rural addresses and oversized parcels.
We courier domestically using NZ Post, Aramex, Post Haste, MOVe Logistics, Fliway, & Kiwi Express.

We courier internationally using NZ Post, Aramex International, FedEx and DHL. Delivery times may vary depending on destination, customs clearance, and local courier services.
Tracking & Delays
We provide tracking for every shipment. Deliveries within New Zealand and Australia are fully tracked from our door to yours. Most international shipments are also fully tracked; however, some regional postal services may offer limited updates once the parcel is handed over for local delivery. If your order is delayed, we recommend contacting the local courier directly with your tracking number for the fastest update.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
Responsibility for the goods passes to the customer once the order has been handed to the carrier.
Australia
No import duty or GST on orders under AUD $1,000.
United States
Import duties, taxes and fees are included in your final price. Customers will not be charged import fees on delivery.
United Kingdom
Import duties, taxes and fees are included in your final price. In some instances, depending on carrier and destination requirements, import charges may not be able to be prepaid and may be charged by local customs on delivery. If this occurs, we will reimburse these costs upon receipt of your order number and customs receipt.
Europe
Import duties, taxes and fees are included in your final price. In some instances, depending on carrier and destination requirements, import charges may not be able to be prepaid and may be charged by local customs on delivery. If this occurs, we will reimburse these costs upon receipt of your order number and customs receipt.
Rest of World
Import duties and taxes are not included in your final price and may be charged by local customs on delivery. These charges are determined by the destination country’s authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient, unless otherwise stated.
Refused Deliveries
If a shipment is not accepted due to unpaid duties, taxes, or import fees, it may be returned to sender. A refund will be issued once the item has been received back at our studio in New Zealand and inspected, provided the item is not a sale item or made-to-order.
The following costs will be deducted from any eligible refund:
- Shipping charges
- Return shipping costs
- Any import duties, GST/VAT, or customs handling fees charged by the courier during return transit
Shipping charges may vary from the amount charged at checkout. In the event of a return or refused delivery, the actual courier costs incurred will be deducted from any eligible refund.
In cases where return and recovery costs exceed the value of the order, we may be unable to complete the return process or issue a refund.
Made-to-Order & Backordered Items
For products marked as made to order or backordered items, please refer to the estimated production lead-time specified on the individual product page.
Production Phase: This timeframe covers the fabrication and assembly of your piece before dispatch.
Shipping Phase: Once production is completed, your order will be dispatched according to our standard processing times.
Oversized Shipping
In scenarios where a product cannot be shipped at its full length due to courier specifications or delivery address limitations, special packaging or assembly arrangements may be required.
For example, The Long Light may be packaged in two pre-assembled sections if it exceeds 2 metres. In these instances, some minor assembly will be required upon delivery. Whenever local courier and address access allow, we will prioritise shipping oversized items in a single piece.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
We accept returns on full-priced items in their original condition, unused, and in their original packaging within 7 days of the delivery date. Approved returns are issued as store credit equal to the value of the returned item(s), excluding shipping fees.
The following items are non-returnable, except in the case of defects:
- Made-to-order products
- Sale items
Returns for change of mind are accepted on eligible items for New Zealand orders only, provided they meet the conditions outlined above.
International orders cannot be returned for change of mind.
Return courier charges are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can approve the return and provide delivery instructions.
Lost, Damaged, or Faulty Items
Lost in Transit: If your tracking has stalled or your parcel appears to be lost in transit, please lodge an investigation with the courier using your tracking number as a reference. Once an investigation is open, please notify us so we can monitor the progress.
In cases where a parcel is officially deemed lost by the carrier, you will receive a replacement or a full refund, including all original courier charges.
Damage & Faults: If you receive an item that is faulty or damaged in transit, we will replace it at our cost, subject to stock availability. If a replacement is unavailable, a full refund will be issued.
- Reporting: Faults or damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- Evidence: Please retain all original packaging and provide photos of both the damaged item and the packaging. This is required to process a claim with the carrier.
- Inspection: Returns of faulty items are subject to inspection. Items showing general wear and tear or misuse will not be accepted as faulty.
Refunds & Store Credit Processing
Once a return has been received and approved, store credit or refunds will be processed within 1–5 working days.
Store credit is issued for eligible change-of-mind returns and will be sent via email. Refunds for faulty or damaged items will be processed to the original payment method.
Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take up to 10 working days for funds to appear in your account after processing.
Deposits
For made-to-order items, a 50% deposit or full payment is required at the time of purchase. If a 50% deposit is paid, the remaining balance is due prior to delivery.
If an order is cancelled before production begins, the deposit will be refunded, less any costs already incurred in preparing the order.
Once production has commenced, deposits are non-refundable.
