Auckland —

We ship with Aramex and NZ Post.

All items are tracked and delivered in approximately the next 1-3 workings days.

Rates are calculated at checkout.


Rest of New Zealand —

We ship with Aramex and NZ Post.

All items are tracked and delivered in approximately 2-5 working days.

Rates are calculated at checkout.

International —

All our orders are shipped from Auckland, New Zealand.

We use NZ Post, Aramex, and FedEx for international orders.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

All items are either fully tracked or semi-tracked, depending on the local carrier in the destination country.

After making an online purchase, if, for any reason, we are unable to ship to your address, we will contact you.

Shipping ‘The Long Light’ —

Due to courier size restrictions, 'The Long Light' may be delivered in two assembled sections for orders over 2 meters in length.

To have 'The Long Light' delivered fully assembled and exceeding two meters in length, please contact us to arrange a specialised carrier for oversized items.

Additional freight charges may apply when using a specialised carrier for oversized items.

Shipping Customs Charges —

Title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

ODDTHING is not responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or customs fees that may be incurred by the destination country.



Returns —

We accept returns on full-priced items in their original condition within 7 days of receiving your order.

Bespoke products, sale items, and purchases made with promotional codes or during promotions are non-returnable, except in the case of faults or errors.

Shipping fees and online payment processing fees (Stripe & PayPal) are non-refundable. For approved returns, we offer store credit or exchanges.

Returns must be couriered at the customer’s expense, and items must be returned in their original condition.

Faulty Items —

In the unlikely event of a faulty item being received in unacceptable condition, we will replace the item at our cost.

Returns of faulty items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when delivered to you.

All items returned will be inspected and any items deemed subject to general wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.

Returns of faulty items must be returned promptly. Please email us so we can know to keep a replacement item aside for you.

We will replace a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available.

If we do not have a replacement available we will arrange a credit to the value of the purchase made.

In the event that the item was damaged during transit, please keep all original packaging. Where possible, please take photos of the damaged item and packaging.

 

 

Deposit Payment —

For made-to-order items, the customer agrees to pay a deposit of 50% of the total purchase price.

This deposit is non-refundable and will be retained as compensation for beginning the production process and covering administrative costs.

The customer understands and agrees that this deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances once paid.

If the customer wishes to cancel the order before production begins, the deposit may be refunded at the discretion of ODDTHING, minus any applicable fees for initial administrative work.
