Oddthing is a design studio who produces unique lighting, homewares, and accessories for modern interiors and workplaces. We are dedicated to creating more thoughtful objects that are good to look at and nice to use.

Each product is locally made in New Zealand. Our metal fabricator is located in East Tāmaki, and the powder-coating process takes place in Avondale. Finished products are assembled and packaged at our Auckland-based studio.

Founded by industrial designer Henry Caird in 2019, Oddthing was created as a platform to showcase new product design ideas. Since then, Oddthing has gone on to win various design awards, and our range can now be found in beautiful homes and interiors across the country.

Products from Oddthing are sold online, with some also available through selected stores in New Zealand and Australia.
